In an exercise reminiscent of the CIA's four temperaments, which categorizes individuals as lions, foxes, cheetahs, and bears, we can apply this concept to building and maintaining exceptional teams.

Lions possess a temperament for organization, foxes excel at generating ideas, cheetahs thrive on taking action, and bears specialize in relationship building. By ensuring that all four temperaments are represented within the team, organizations can achieve remarkable sales outcomes. What are the Four Temperaments?

Lions: The Organizers

Lions possess exceptional organizational skills, which are vital for coordinating and structuring sales activities. They excel at managing timelines, creating efficient processes, and ensuring tasks are completed in a systematic manner. Lions are excellent at setting goals, allocating resources, and maintaining clear communication channels within the team. With their attention to detail and strong project management abilities, they provide the foundation for a well-structured sales operation.

Foxes: The Idea Generators

Foxes bring creativity and innovation to the digital sales team. They are known for their ability to generate ideas, think outside the box, and identify new opportunities. Foxes thrive on brainstorming sessions and can inject fresh perspectives into sales strategies. Their imaginative thinking helps the team develop unique value propositions, create engaging marketing campaigns, and explore untapped markets. Foxes ensure that the team remains adaptable and stays ahead of the competition.

Cheetahs: The Action-Takers

Creating a High-Performing Team

To build a high-performing team, it is essential to have representatives from each temperament. While a team may function adequately without all four profiles, true excellence, and optimal performance require a balance of these diverse skills. When evaluating existing staff or interviewing potential candidates, it is essential to determine which temperament may be missing or require reinforcement.

Identifying Temperaments

While traditional interview questions may revolve around job performance and experiences, identifying temperaments requires a more nuanced approach. Asking candidates about personal experiences without violating HR policies can provide valuable insights. For example, posing a question such as, "How do you plan your vacation?" can disarm the candidate and reveal their underlying temperament.

Observing the candidate's response can provide valuable clues. A lion would meticulously plan their vacation, considering various factors such as low and high seasons, ticket prices, and hotel bookings. A cheetah would likely express spontaneity, focusing on the excitement of jumping on the next plane without much planning. A fox might share thoughts on shortlisting destinations based on interesting activities and reviews. Lastly, a bear might defer the decision-making to their partner or friends, prioritizing the satisfaction of those close to them.

So, Building a high-performing team requires a blend of personalities and skills. By incorporating the four temperaments of lions, foxes, cheetahs, and bears, organizations can create a well-rounded team capable of exceptional performance. Each temperament brings unique strengths to the table, from organization and creativity to execution and relationship building. By identifying the temperaments within the existing team and during the hiring process, organizations can ensure balanced and dynamic forces that achieve outstanding results using the CIA's method.

What to Expect: Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT) is a short-term treatment. Most individuals require only 1 to 3 sessions for lasting results. Often in a single session, RRT you can resolve lifelong issues, with lasting results. I have worked with clients as young as 6 and as old as 92, with great success! The first session is 2 hours long, followed, if needed, by a 90-minute session to tweak the new changes! On special occasions, I may divide the 2-hour session into two parts if the child needs a break. Children are my favorite session, because when I teach them how to control their brains, so their thoughts are not controlling them, their brains respond the fastest.
